Have you ever watched cooking programmes on the T.V. and wondered why all of these wonderful chef’s use Olive Oil when cooking and the simple answer lies in the prasouda diet book.

Olive oil is one of the best oils your body can have and not only that it can actually help to reduce the amount of fat your body has stored up which will help you to lose weight naturally this is why all your top chef’s use olive oil when they are making the delightful dishes before your eyes.

Olive oil was traditionally used in the Greek mainland and islands and all over the Mediterranean where it is still the most popular oil today. If you visit anywhere in the Mediterranean you will see people sitting in bars and café’s with small dishes of olives to nibble on as it is part of their staple  diet and not only that is good for them.

Olive oil has become very popular the world over and there is basically two forms of the oil which are ordinary olive oil and extra virgin olive oil with the latter being more expensive but the better of the two oils.

The prasouda diet book will give you a further insight in to what benefits these oils can have on your body and health so if you have not already got a copy then I would suggest you get a copy now.

For the remainder of this short article I will explain the difference between both these oils which is not rocket science but if your budget allows then I would always recommend you purchase the extra virgin olive oil.

Extra virgin olive oil only uses the first press of the olive thus giving it the best of the oil that can be produced the remainder of the olive presses goes to make up normal olive oil and this is the main difference between the two, so not surprising that the virgin oil is more expensive.

Whatever one you buy you can add your own ingredients into it to make it more tasteful such as chillies, garlic, basil, and many other herbs and spices to make your own unique flavour for salad dressings or any dressings you care to make.

As both types of oil are increasing you can also buy flavoured olive oils to suit your taste  in most supermarkets which are slightly more expensive again but are full of flavour and goodness which is important to us all.

The prasouda diet is the oldest diet in the world and in recent years the ingredients have become more and more popular so get the book now and see what else you are missing out on.
